1. About the OrganizationLOVENMITAWA Farmer Producer Company Limited is a farmer-owned organization working to improve farmers' incomes through aggregation, input supply, value addition, processing, branding, and market linkages. The FPO works with small and marginal farmers and promotes agricultural and value-added products, including millets, maize, bajra, jowar, ragi, rose and amla-based products, and other farm-based products.
2. Job PurposeThe Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing and sales strategies for FPO products, identifying new buyers and markets, strengthening existing business relationships, promoting the FPO brand, and increasing sales and profitability for the organization and its farmer members.
3. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Market Development & Business Linkages
• Identify and develop new markets for FPO products.
• Establish relationships with institutional buyers, retailers, wholesalers, processors, exporters, aggregators, distributors, and e-commerce platforms.
• Generate and follow up on business leads and enquiries.
• Facilitate Buyer-Seller Meets, B2B meetings, exhibitions, trade fairs and business networking events.
• Develop long-term procurement and marketing partnerships.
B. Sales & Business Development
• Prepare monthly and annual sales plans and targets.
• Develop sales channels for FPO products, including B2B, retail, institutional and online channels.
• Negotiate prices, quantities, payment terms and delivery schedules with buyers in coordination with management.
• Monitor orders from enquiry to delivery and ensure timely fulfilment.
• Maintain regular follow-up with existing and potential customers.
