Student Counsellor – Study Abroad

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Student Counsellor – Study Abroad who will be responsible for connecting with prospective students/clients interested in pursuing education overseas, understanding their requirements, and converting qualified leads into successful applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Call and follow up with leads assigned by the company.
Understand students' academic background, career goals, budget, and study-abroad requirements.
Counsel and guide students regarding suitable overseas education opportunities and our services.
Effectively communicate the benefits of our study-abroad process and convince prospective students to proceed with the company.
Handle objections and queries professionally and build trust with students/clients.
Follow up consistently with interested leads and maintain proper lead records.
Convert leads into applications/enrolments and achieve assigned monthly targets.
Coordinate with the internal team to ensure a smooth counselling and application process.
Requirements:
Excellent communication and convincing skills.
Strong interpersonal and counselling abilities.
Target-oriented and comfortable working in a sales-driven environment.
Good follow-up and negotiation skills.
Ability to understand client requirements and effectively pitch relevant services.
Freshers with valuable communication skills can also apply; prior experience in Study Abroad / Education Counselling / Inside Sales / Telecalling will be an advantage.
