Role Description The Assistant Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ludhiana. The role involves supporting day-to-day accounting activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, preparing vouchers, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable. The Assistant Accountant will help in preparing basic financial reports, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring proper documentation and filing of invoices and receipts.



The position also includes assisting with GST and tax-related documentation, coordinating with external accountants or auditors when needed, and maintaining organized financial records. Collaboration with the finance and administrative teams to ensure timely payments, accurate data entry, and compliance with company policies is an integral part of this role.
Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliation.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally or similar tools) and MS Office applications, especially Excel for data entry and reporting.
• Ability to maintain accurate financial records, manage documentation, and handle invoices, receipts, and vouchers in a systematic manner.
