Role Overview
We're hiring a Merchant Success Manager to own the client relationship for a portfolio of Comergent's Shopify brand clients. You'll be the main point of contact for merchants once they onboard, responsible for making sure they see real AI-referred traffic and revenue, and for translating GEO/SEO strategy into things our team actually executes.

This role sits at the intersection of client management and hands-on SEO/GEO/Agentic Commerce work. You won't just report numbers in a call, you'll be diagnosing why a client's citation count isn't moving and pushing the fix through. This is a remote role, open to candidates anywhere in India, with working hours overlapping US Pacific Time (PST) to cover client calls and team syncs.

Key Responsibilities
• Own onboarding for recent merchants, from kickoff through first AI-attributed order,



aiming to hit our ~30-day time-to-first-order benchmark
• Be the primary point of contact for an assigned book of client brands, running regular check-ins and QBRs
• Diagnose issues holding back a client's AI visibility (citation counts, robots.txt misconfigurations, product feed gaps, Google Merchant Center errors) and loop in the right internal team to fix them
• Translate GEO/SEO strategy into a concrete action plan the client and our delivery team can execute against
• Track and report client-level metrics (AI citation counts, AI-referred traffic and revenue, ad spend displaced) and flag at-risk accounts early
• Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts as clients see results
• Work closely with the product and delivery teams to feed client learnings back into how Comergent builds and sells
