Job Overview

We are looking for a senior professional with strong experience in Capital Markets, Trade Operations or Trading Operations, with hands-on exposure to Equity and Derivatives markets.

/n

The role involves managing day-to-day trading operations, leading an operations team, coordinating with internal Technology and Business teams, and ensuring smooth and controlled execution of trading and post-trade activities.

/n

The professional will also be responsible for UAT, functional testing, requirement analysis, defect tracking and implementation of system enhancements, along with supporting regulatory and exchange-related requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day Trade/Trading Operations and ensure activities are completed accurately within defined SLAs.
/n
- Lead the operations team, including work allocation, monitoring, guidance and team development.
/n




- Oversee trading and post-trade activities including order/trade processing, reconciliation, settlement and operational controls.
/n
- Participate in UAT and functional testing, including reviewing test scenarios, identifying gaps, tracking defects and supporting UAT sign-off.
/n
- Review BRDs, business requirements, functional specifications and impact analysis for current initiatives and system changes.
/n
- Coordinate with Technology, Development, Testing and Business teams for system enhancements and production issues.
/n
- Support SEBI, regulatory and exchange-related audits/inspections and ensure timely closure of observations and requirements.
/n
- Coordinate with external stakeholders including exchanges, clearing corporations, banks, depositories and other market participants.
/n
- Identify operational gaps, conduct risk/process analysis and drive process improvements.
/n
