Acron Polymer Products is an established manufacturing company with over 11 years of experience. We design and manufacture consumer products, with a strong focus on silicone and related manufacturing technologies.

We are looking for a Senior 3D CAD Designer – Product Development who is fast, technically solid, comfortable working independently, and enjoys turning physical products and ideas into accurate, manufacturable 3D designs.

This is not just a CAD operator role. We are looking for someone who understands shape, surfaces, manufacturing and product design.

What you will work onA large part of the role involves reverse engineering and developing consumer products.
Examples of work include:
- Receiving an imported consumer product and accurately recreating it in 3D for local manufacturing
- Designing silicone kitchenware, household products and other consumer products




- Creating complex curved and organic surfaces from physical samples or reference designs
- Modifying existing products to improve manufacturability or functionality
- Designing moulds and tooling for silicone products — training will be provided where required
- Designing jigs, fixtures and simple production aids for use inside our factory
- Creating prototypes on our resin 3D printers to physically verify designs before tooling

Key responsibilities
- Create accurate 3D product models
- Reverse engineer products from physical samples
- Create 2D manufacturing drawings with dimensions and tolerances
- Maintain drawing revisions and CAD documentation
- Work closely with the Product Head, tooling team and factory
- Operate and manage resin 3D printers for prototyping
- Design jigs and fixtures for internal manufacturing requirements
- Understand measurements from physical components using vernier cal
