nTo lead and develop the Internal Audit function for a telecoms business, providing independent assurance on governance, risk management, and internal controls. The role ensures regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and protection of revenue streams across telecom operations.
nKey Responsibilities
nLeadership & Strategy

- Develop and execute a risk-based internal audit strategy aligned with business and regulatory requirementsn
- Build and lead a high-performing internal audit team across multiple markets/functionsn
- Act as a key advisor to the Board, Audit Committee, and Executive Leadershipn

nAudit & Assurance
n
- n
- Design and deliver the annual audit plan covering:n
- Financial controlsn
- Operational processesn
- IT & cybersecurityn
- Telecom network & OSS/BSS environmentsn
- Provide independent assurance on governance, risk management, and internal controlsn
- Oversee audits across network operations, customer lifecycle, billing, and revenue assurancen





nTelecom-Specific Oversight

- n
- Audit end-to-end telecom value chain:n
- Network infrastructure (RAN, Core, Transmission)n
- Billing, mediation & rating systemsn
- Interconnect & roamingn
- Digital services / fintech platformsn
- Ensure compliance with telecom regulations (e.g., spectrum, data privacy, cybersecurity)n
- Evaluate revenue leakage risks and fraud controls across systems and processesn

nRisk & Compliance

- n
- Establish and enhance enterprise risk management frameworksn
- Monitor compliance with local UAE regulations and international telecom standardsn
- Lead investigations into fraud, control breaches, and operational failuresn

nStakeholder Management

- Present audit findings and insights to the Audit Committee and Boardn
- Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and compliance functionsn
- Influence senior stakeholders to drive remediation and control improvemen
