Irish Accounting Professionals

nQualification: CA / ACCA / CPA / ACA / Semi-qualified CA / Semi-qualified ACCA / B.Com / M.Com or equivalent
nKey Responsibilities

- n
- Prepare routine accounts for Irish businesses in line with Irish accounting standards and team methodology.n
- Maintain accurate client files, working papers, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.n
- Post year-end adjustments including accruals, prepayments, journals, depreciation, provisions, and fixed asset transactions.n
- Perform bank, VAT, PAYE/PRSI, payroll, debtor, creditor, intercompany, and other control account reconciliations.n
- Prepare and support Irish Corporation Tax, Income Tax, and VAT computations/returns, as applicable.n
- Perform bookkeeping using Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Dext, or other accounting platforms.n
- Conduct account clean-up, analytical reviews, and identify unusual transactions, errors, unreconciled balances, and documentation gaps.n




- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and disclosures.n
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, documentation, and audit trail.n
- Apply qualified scepticism, resolve review points, and promptly escalate technical, quality, deadline, or information issues.n

nWhat We're Looking For
n
- n
- CA / ACCA / CPA / ACA / Semi-qualified CA / Semi-qualified ACCA / B.Com / M.Com or equivalent accounting qualification.n
- 2+ years of relevant experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations, accounts preparation, or accounting support.n
- Experience working with Irish clients will be an advantage.n
- Practical knowledge of Irish accounting and bookkeeping processes, including bank reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, journals, debtors, creditors, and year-end adjustments.n
- Familiarity with Irish VAT, PAYE, PRSI, USC, and Corporation Tax, with the ability to identify matters requiring specialist tax review.n
