Skechers India is looking for a qualified Lawyer and Company Secretary to join the Legal function as Manager – Legal, Compliance & Company Secretarial. The role will provide comprehensive legal and governance support to the business across contracts, regulatory compliance, litigation, intellectual property, company secretarial matters, and other legal requirements.
The role will work closely with internal business functions, senior stakeholders, external legal counsel, and regulatory authorities to ensure that business activities are supported by appropriate legal documentation, sound compliance practices, and effective governance processes.

Key Responsibilities
1. Legal Advisory & Contract Management
• Draft, review, negotiate and provide legal inputs on a wide range of commercial and business agreements.
• Handle and review lease agreements, Leave & License agreements, vendor agreements, customer agreements, service agreements, NDAs, and other commercial contracts.
• Identify contractual risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures while protecting the Company's interests.




• Monitor key contractual obligations, renewals, notices, and compliance requirements under executed agreements.
• Provide timely legal advice to business functions on day-to-day operational and commercial matters.
• Research applicable laws, regulations and judicial developments and prepare legal opinions and recommendations.

2. Regulatory Compliance
• Support the Company in identifying, interpreting, and implementing applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory compliance requirements applicable to business operations.
• Coordinate with relevant functions to track and address compliance requirements across the organization.
• Support compliance requirements relating to corporate operations, retail stores, offices, sourcing/manufacturing activities, and other business operations, as applicable.
• Monitor regulatory development
