We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr. Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist
In this role, you will:
• Own service readiness and operational governance by defining and tracking NFRs and maintaining runbooks, SOPs and operational artefacts
• Oversee operational readiness reviews to confirm production standards are met and risks are managed before release




• Deliver continuity through backup and restore and DR planning including regular testing, validation of RTO and RPO targets and remediation actions
• Run monitoring, alerting and observability to support incident response, major incident triage, service restoration, RCA and problem management
• Manage vulnerability remediation and patching across Windows and Linux OS and platform components prioritising by risk and producing audit-ready evidence
• Operate and improve GCP and Kubernetes (GKE) platform services including upgrades, node pools, add-ons, capacity and availability management and workload troubleshooting
• Apply core cloud controls across IAM, networking, logging and monitoring to keep platform operations secure and supportabl
• Reduce operational toil through automation for checks, patch orchestration, reporting and evidence capture using PowerShell, Bash, Ansible and Python
