About the RoleWe are looking for a creative and versatile Photographer & Videographer who can handle both film/media promotional activities and professional event photography & videography.

The person will work across two business verticals — Southwood Studios and Annapurneshwari Events — covering everything from celebrity interviews and movie promotions to weddings, birthdays and family functions.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable operating cameras, capturing high-quality photographs and videos, managing different shooting environments, and performing basic photo and video editing.

Key Responsibilities1. Film & Media Coverage – Southwood StudiosYou will be responsible for photography and videography for various entertainment and media-related activities, including:

- Movie press meets
- Movie pre-release events
- Trailer and teaser launches
- Song launches
- Movie promotional events
- Celebrity interviews
- Actor and director interviews
- Podcast recordings
- YouTube content
- Media interactions
- Red-carpet and promotional events
- Behind-the-scenes coverage
- Celebrity photoshoots
- Social media content creation
- Reels, shorts and promotional videos
- Event highlights and aftermovies

The candidate should understand how to capture celebrities, stage events, interviews and media interactions professionally.

2. Event Photography & Videography – Annapurneshwari EventsThe candidate will also cover various personal and social events, including:

- Birthday parties
- Pre-wedding shoots
- Engagement ceremonies
- Wedding-related functions
- Baby showers / Seemantha
- Namakaranam ceremonies
- Housewarming functions
- Anniversary celebrations
- Family functions
- Corporate events
- Cultural events
- Other private and social celebrations

Responsibilities include:

- Candid photography
- Traditional/event photography
- Event videography
- Couple photography




- Family/group photographs
- Short-form video/reels
- Event highlight videos
- Capturing important moments and emotions
- Basic event lighting setup where required

Camera & Technical SkillsThe candidate should have practical knowledge of:

- DSLR / Mirrorless cameras
- Different lenses and their applications
- Photography composition
- Portrait photography
- Event photography
- Videography
- Camera settings – ISO, shutter speed, aperture and white balance
- Basic lighting
- External flashes / continuous lights
- Tripods, gimbals and basic camera accessories
- Audio recording for interviews and events
- Basic framing and camera movements
- Shooting for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and YouTube videos

Knowledge of Sony / Canon / Nikon / Fujifilm camera systems will be an advantage.

Editing SkillsThe candidate should have basic to intermediate editing knowledge.

Photo EditingKnowledge of any of the following is preferred:

- Adobe Lightroom
- Adobe Photoshop
- Canva or similar tools
- Colour correction
- Exposure and white-balance correction
- Cropping and resizing
- Basic skin retouching
- Social media image preparation

Video EditingKnowledge of any of the following is preferred:

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- DaVinci Resolve
- Final Cut Pro
- CapCut
- Other professional video-editing software

The candidate should be able to perform basic:

- Video cutting
- Trimming
- Transitions
- Colour correction
- Audio syncing
- Music addition
- Text/titles
- Reels and Shorts editing
- Basic highlight-video creation
- Candidate Requirements1–3 years of practical experience in photography/videography preferred.
- Freshers with a strong portfolio and good practical camera knowledge may also be considered.
- Must have a good eye for composition and framing.




- Must be comfortable photographing and recording people.
- Should be confident while working at live events.
- Should be willing to travel within Bengaluru and occasionally outside Bengaluru for assignments.
- Should be flexible with working hours, especially during events and movie promotions.
- Should be able to work independently as well as with a team.
- Should maintain and handle camera and other equipment responsibly.
- Good communication skills are preferred.
- Kannada and English communication skills will be an advantage.

Important: Versatility is RequiredThis is not a single-category photography job.

The selected candidate will work across entertainment/media + professional events, so the ability to adapt to different shooting environments is very important.

One day the assignment could be a celebrity interview or movie press meet, and another day it could be a pre-wedding shoot, birthday, baby shower or family function.
