Role

As a Team Manager – Production Engineering- Paint shop – you will be a part of production engineering department and will report to Section Head- Production Engineering
Your role will be to Manage & optimize robotic painting lines & CED process line.
Ensure new model development & shade establishment trials while maintaining quality, efficiency, safety, and environmental standards.

A purpose driven role for you

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
(A)- Process oversee & optimisation – PT CED & Robotic painting Line (TSA & PU)

1.Line OEE, Cycle Time reduction, Paint application efficiency improvement
2. Low cost automatic projects
3. Planning of Paint shop revamp & ensuring equipment efficiency and reliability.
(B)-New Model & Shade Establishment:
1.Recent model & new shade introduction, establishment & ramp up, robotic path teaching.
(C)-New Equipment:
1. Overall Manufacturing Strategy preparation of new machines.
2. New Machine schedule preparation and utility readiness.
3.



Study of for machine utilities and capacity planning with for integration.
(D)-Capex planning and Implementation.
1. CAPEX proposal planning and feasibility study.
2. Technical specifications preparation
3. RFQ preparation and floating to suppliers
4. Commercial documents preparation as per the defined process.
5. Installation & Commissioning, Trials and Handover of all new facility.

A Day in the life

Manage & optimize robotic painting lines & CED process line.
Ensure recent model development & shade establishment trials while maintaining quality, efficiency, safety, and environmental standards.

Academic Qualification & Experience

B.Tech with 2-5 yrs of experience

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Project Management, Sound paint knowledge, Robotic Painting, Knowledge in paint process & troubleshooting, knowledge in spray painting, cost reduction activities

Behavioural Skills

Good communication skills, Presentation skills,
