The Job
The Advisory MSSQL and MongoDB database administration position is responsible for ongoing administration, performance, resilience and overall architecture of SQL Server and MongoDB database technologies and ancillary database support systems. As Advisory DBA, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our corporate applications.



This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively. This position will report to the Offshore DBA Manager and will provide regular updates, status, and escalations as needed. In addition, this position will interface with both Infrastructure IT groups as well as Application client members towards the overall goal of a high performance, stable and 99.99% service uptime of the Pitney Bowes applications. The team member will also work on projects related to current technology adoption related to database or database tool technologies.

Required qualifications for the role:
• 6+ years of experience as core MSSQL. Familiarity with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS
• 1+ years of experience as core MongoDB.
