The Team
We're a global R&D; / Innovation team across the Middle East, Asia, and Europe, building the next generation of software-defined automation (SDA). We close the gap between today's automation systems and tomorrow's open, software-defined plants, turning emerging standards and technologies into solutions that matter. IT/OT convergence is at the heart of everything we build.
The Role
You'll join a team of automation and software engineering experts. You'll design and build proofs of concept (PoCs) that fill technology gaps and deliver solutions to critical customer needs. You'll work across both IT and OT systems. This is a hands-on role for an engineer who loves turning bold ideas into high-impact, real-world innovations.
What You'll Do
• Architect and build PoCs and Engineered Solutions across control, edge, and IT layers
• Define control strategies and system architectures for SDA and open automation solutions
• Define and run test plans, document results, and verify and validate solutions and fixes
• Integrate control systems, digital platforms, and IT & OT infrastructure (servers,

virtualization, networking, system management)
• Review system designs, mentor engineers, and establish engineering practices
• Evaluate emerging technologies and standards, and turn findings into actions
• Present results to stakeholders, partners, and leadership, and write clear documentation

Must-Have
• Bachelor's in Control, Instrumentation, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years in industrial automation and process control projects
• Deep knowledge of control strategies, sequences, interlocks, and loop tuning
• Hands-on experience with at least one major DCS, preferably Schneider Electric
• Skilled in PLC/SCADA, IEC 61131-3, and industrial protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, EtherNet/IP)
• Comfortable in IT environments: Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, TCP/IP networking
• A explicit communicator who can explain technical ideas to mixed audiences.
