Summary
The Instructional Designer
(Assessment Programs) supports and leads the design, development, and ongoing
maintenance of technical certifications, assessments, and learning materials
across the Cornerstone Certification Program. This role contributes to the full
lifecycle of credential development, from Job Task Analysis (JTA), blueprint
design, and item development through standard setting, LMS asset management,
and recurring program operations, while also executing hands-on development and
maintenance tasks with a high degree of quality and accuracy.
This is a cross-functional
role that draws on expertise in instructional design methodology, assessment
development, credentialing best practices, project execution, and stakeholder
management. The Instructional Designer (Assessment Programs)



applies structured
program management practices and data-driven decision making to deliver
credentials that carry genuine professional value across the Cornerstone
ecosystem.

In This Role You Will
Certification Design and
Development
Participate in and support the design, development, and refresh of certifications and assessments, including Job Task Analysis (JTA), Minimally Qualified Candidate (MQC) profiling, examination blueprint design, item development, standard setting, and cut score determination, in alignment with industry credentialing standards
Review examination items and credential content for clarity, accuracy, cognitive level, alignment to blueprint specifications, and freedom from bias prior to deployment
Provide content direction and blueprint alignment guidance for the development of candidate-facing support materials
