The Chance

In a recycling business, every transaction counts. Each batch of battery scrap purchased, each invoice raised, each vendor paid and each shipment dispatched has to be recorded accurately and on time. As a company grows quickly, the quality of its books decides how clearly it can see its own business: its costs, its margins and its cash position.

As Junior Accountant at Unicel Greens, you'll help keep that picture accurate. You'll maintain daily accounting entries, invoices, books of accounts and financial records in Tally, and make sure every record is complete, correct and up to date. You'll handle routine accounting work on your own and work closely with our procurement, operations and finance teams. Along the way, you'll see how accounts work inside a fast-growing cleantech business.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Record daily transactions. Maintain accurate daily accounting entries in Tally for purchases, sales, payments and receipts.
• Manage invoicing. Prepare, verify and record sales and purchase invoices,



and make sure every invoice matches its supporting documents.
• Maintain books of accounts. Keep ledgers, cash book and bank book up to date, complete and properly organised.
• Keep financial records in order. File and maintain vouchers, bills and basic financial documents so they're ready for review at any time.
• Ensure accuracy. Check entries regularly, spot mismatches or errors early, and correct them before they build up.
• Coordinate with internal teams. Work with the procurement, operations and finance teams to collect bills, documents and transaction details on time.
• Work independently. Handle routine accounting work on your own with minimal supervision, and escalate issues when needed.

Preferred Skills

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Working knowledge of Tally and basic bookkeeping principles
