We are looking for a Technically Inclined Business Development Executive to drive the adoption of Arduino UNO Q across universities, engineering colleges, and polytechnics in India.
The role combines technical sales, institutional business development, curriculum development, and hands-on training. The candidate will engage with academic institutions, identify opportunities for laboratory and student-learning applications, develop customized lab proposals, and conduct technical workshops and training programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach universities, engineering colleges, and polytechnics across India.
- Engage with HODs, faculty members, principals, and institutional decision-makers.
- Promote Arduino UNO Q for bulk procurement, academic programs, student projects, and laboratory setups.
- Conduct product demonstrations and manage the sales cycle from lead generation through order closure.
- Develop customized laboratory proposals, including hardware requirements, BOM, and costing.
- Develop curricula, lab manuals, practical exercises, certification programs, and project-based learning modules.
- Conduct workshops, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), and hands-on training for students and faculty.
- Develop technical demonstrations and projects covering Embedded Systems, IoT, Robotics, AI/ML, and Automation.
- Coordinate with internal technical and sales teams for proposals, demonstrations, training, and execution.
- Identify new academic opportunities and build long-term relationships with educational institutions.
- Track leads, proposals, institutional discussions, demonstrations, and business opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Robotics, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Understanding of microcontrollers, development boards, sensors, and embedded systems.
- Knowledge of IoT, Robotics, AI/ML, and hardware interfacing.
- Ability to develop technical projects, curricula, laboratory proposals, and practical learning modules.
- Robust presentation, communication, and training skills.
- Strong business development and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to students, faculty, and institutional decision-makers.
- Willingness to travel across India.
Performance Evaluation
Initially, there will be no fixed revenue targets. Performance will be evaluated based on:
- University and college outreach.
- Number and quality of qualified institutional opportunities generated.
- Arduino UNO Q sales and institutional partnerships.
- Lab proposals developed and submitted.
- Curricula, lab manuals, and training modules created.
- Workshops, FDPs, and training programs delivered.
- Business generated through boards, laboratory setups, academic programs, and training services.
- Development of long-term institutional relationships.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable approaching educational institutions, understanding their requirements, developing suitable technical solutions, conducting demonstrations and training, and taking opportunities from initial engagement through proposal, execution, and business closure.
