Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day maintenance activities across assigned shifts, ensuring machines and utilities

• Respond immediately to breakdowns and unplanned downtime; diagnose faults quickly and

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems, PLC-based machines, motors, pumps,

conveyors, and other plant equipment.

• Read and interpret machine drawings, hydraulic/electrical circuit diagrams, and equipment data

sheets to guide repairs and installations.

• Monitor machine performance data (uptime, cycle counts, fault logs) to identify recurring issues and

plan preventive maintenance.

• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns and

extend equipment life.

• Maintain spare parts inventory — stock keeping, reorder planning, and coordinating timely

procurement of critical spares.

• Liaise with vendors and OEMs for spare parts, technical support,

and equipment upgrades.

• Travel to and support commissioning/maintenance work at other factory locations across India as

needed.

• Maintain maintenance records, breakdown logs, and shift handover reports.

• Train and guide shift technicians/helpers on secure operating and maintenance practices.
