About the Company
Internmo is offering a structured remote internship for freshers who want to begin a career in cybersecurity. The internship provides practical exposure to cybersecurity fundamentals, security monitoring, vulnerability assessment, network security, and identifying and responding to common security threats.
Responsibilities
• Assist in monitoring and analyzing security events, alerts, and potential threats.
• Support vulnerability assessments and basic security testing of systems and applications.
• Assist in identifying security risks, vulnerabilities, and potential attack vectors.
• Work with basic cybersecurity tools for monitoring, analysis, and threat detection.
• Assist in understanding and implementing basic network and application security practices.
• Document security findings, technical observations, and remediation recommendations clearly.
• Participate in security-related projects and practical assignments.




• Work collaboratively with remote team members and complete assigned deliverables on time.

Requirements
• Suitable for freshers with an interest in cybersecurity, information security, ethical hacking, network security, or a related area.
• Solid logical reasoning, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Familiarity with concepts such as vulnerabilities, threats, authentication, access control, and basic security practices is beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of Linux, networking protocols, and security tools is beneficial.
• Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, or similar cybersecurity tools is an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing deadlines responsibly.
