Role: Accounts Associate - Tally & Bookkeeping

Role Overview

We are looking for an Accounts Associate with robust hands-on experience in Tally Prime and bookkeeping.



The role will primarily focus on maintaining accurate books of accounts on an accrual basis and ensuring accounting entries are recorded in accordance with the applicable Accounting Standards and relevant provisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting in Tally Prime.
• Pass purchase, sales, receipt, payment, journal and expense entries.
• Maintain books of accounts on an accrual basis.
• Record accruals, provisions, prepaid expenses, outstanding expenses and other period-end adjustments.
• Ensure accounting entries are recorded in accordance with applicable Accounting Standards and relevant provisions.
• Maintain and reconcile vendor, customer and other ledger accounts.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Verify invoices, bills and supporting documents before accounting.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing of books.
• Support GST, TDS and statutory audit requirements.
• Coordinate for accounting queries, schedules and audit requirements.
• Ensure Tally is updated accurately and on a timely basis.
