Position: India Sales Manager / Business Development Manager

About the Company

We are a China-based manufacturer specializing in thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) and adhesive-layer materials for self-adhesive protective films.

We are expanding our business in the Indian market and are looking for an experienced India Sales Manager to develop customers and build long-term business relationships in India.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and manage customers in the Indian plastics, polymer, film, protective film and adhesive industries.
* Identify new business opportunities and develop recent customers.
* Visit customers, understand technical requirements and coordinate product trials.
* Work closely with the China technical and sales teams to support customer qualification and product development.
* Prepare RFQs, quotations, sales forecasts and market reports.
* Monitor competitors, market prices and customer requirements.
* Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key customers.




* Regularly report sales activities, pipeline and market intelligence to the China headquarters.
* Travel within India as required.

Requirements

* 5+ years of B2B sales experience in plastics, polymers, films, adhesives, chemicals or related industries.
* At least 3 years of sales experience in the Indian market.
* Experience with protective films, plastic films, polymer materials, TPE, TPU, PE, PP, adhesives or related materials is highly preferred.
* Existing relationships with Indian film manufacturers, protective film manufacturers, plastic converters or polymer companies will be a strong advantage.
* Strong business development and customer relationship management skills.
* Good technical understanding of polymer/plastic materials.
* Good English communication skills.
* Willingness to travel within India.

Compensation

Competitive fixed salary plus performance-based sales commission.
