Compressor Specialist – Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (I&C;) serves as the primary technical expert and customer contact for all compressor-related electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation matters. The role is responsible for technical troubleshooting, warranty claim evaluation, root cause analysis, customer complaint management, technical training, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
The additional responsibility also includes back office technical support to DPS business in India.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Customer Interface
• Act as the primary technical contact for customers regarding electrical, instrumentation, and control-related compressor issues.
• Provide third-level technical support for service cases and complex troubleshooting activities.
• Prepare the technical Quires/resolution based on the requirements by customer for DPS.
• Support Field Service Representatives (FSR), Field Service Specialists (FSS), and Sales Support teams with technical clarifications and solutions.
• Detect, diagnose, and resolve compressor and plant control system issues at customer sites.
• Advise customers on technical solutions and corrective actions to improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Preparation of IDS (Inquiry Data Sheet) contains complete information to prepare a technical quotation compliant with each customer inquiry for Digital Product & Services (DPS).
