Orange Tribe is a branding and packaging studio working primarily with FMCG and D2C brands. We help businesses develop clear positioning and translate it into strategy, brand identity, and packaging design.

About the role
We’re looking for a strategist who can research markets, understand consumers and develop differentiated brand positioning and foundations.
This role focuses on brand strategy, not advertising, campaign planning, social media strategy or performance marketing.
You will work directly with the Founder & Creative Director, receiving guidance in our strategic approach while taking increasing ownership of projects and client relationships.

Key responsibilities
• Lead discovery calls to understand business objectives, products and founder perspectives.
• Conduct category, competitor and consumer research,



distinguishing evidence from assumptions.
• Identify consumer insights, market opportunities and credible points of differentiation.
• Develop and evaluate positioning routes against consumer needs, competitors and business capabilities.
• Develop brand foundations, including purpose, promise, values, personality, voice, tone and core messaging.
• Create explicit strategy decks and present recommendations with supporting rationale.
• Lead client communication during strategy development, manage feedback and document decisions.
• Coordinate project milestones and translate approved strategy into actionable creative briefs.
• Work with the design team to keep strategy and execution aligned.

Requirements
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in brand strategy or strategic planning, preferably within a branding studio or agency.
• Experience working with consumer brands, ideally FMCG or D2C.
