K Patel Group, an established industrial distribution company operating across Western India, is looking for a responsible and experienced Accountant for our Surat Branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily accounting entries in Tally Prime
- Sales, purchase, receipt, payment and journal entries
- Bank reconciliation and cash/bank management
- Customer and supplier ledger reconciliation
- Outstanding receivables follow-up and reporting
- GST-related accounting and documentation
- Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory compliance
- Maintain branch expenses, petty cash and supporting documents
- Coordinate with Head Office Accounts team for reports and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly accounting and outstanding reports
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all branch accounting work
Candidate Requirements
- B.Com preferred
- Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience preferred
- Good working knowledge of Tally Prime advantage
- Good knowledge of MS Excel advantage
- Strong understanding of ledger reconciliation and accounts receivable
- Accurate, disciplined and comfortable handling responsibilities independently
Preferred Candidate
Experience in a trading, distribution, industrial products or similar business will be preferred.
