Testing & Commissioning Engineer – LT PanelsJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Testing & Commissioning Engineer – LT Panels to handle the testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing of LT electrical panels at customer project sites. The candidate should have robust knowledge of electrical switchgear, control circuits, interlocking schemes, and LT panels, along with good customer coordination and problem-solving skills.

- Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with customers regarding panel commissioning schedules and ensure timely completion.
- Perform testing and commissioning of LT electrical panels supplied to various projects.
- Work on panels such as PCC, MCC, APFC, PDB, Fire Pump, and other LT control panels.
- Test and troubleshoot electrical switchgear including ACBs, MCCBs, VFDs, soft starters, PLCs, contactors, relays, and protection devices.
- Read and understand electrical schematic, control, and interlocking scheme drawings.
- Identify panel-related technical issues during testing and commissioning and coordinate with the production team for resolution.
- Attend customer service calls related to supplied panels and provide technical troubleshooting support.
- Conduct functional testing of control circuits, protection systems, interlocks, and panel components.
- Verify panel operation and ensure proper functioning before final handover to the customer.
- Explain panel operation, functionality,



and basic troubleshooting procedures to customers.
- Coordinate with production, design, and service teams to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare and maintain commissioning reports, service reports, testing records, and customer feedback reports.
- Follow electrical safety procedures and company standards during testing and commissioning activities.
- Travel to customer/project sites as required for commissioning and service activities.
- RequirementsDiploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in testing and commissioning of LT electrical panels.
- Good knowledge of PCC, MCC, APFC, PDB, Fire Pump, and other LT panels.
- Strong understanding of ACBs, MCCBs, VFDs, soft starters, PLCs, relays, and electrical protection devices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical control, schematic, and interlocking drawings.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer and project sites.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with production and service teams.
