Designation: MIS Executive

Location: Manufacturing Plant -Bavla Gujarat

Reporting To: Production Manager / Plant Head

Experience: 3–5 Years

Role Overview

Incumbent will be responsible for managing production-related data, MIS reporting, analysis and documentation. The role will primarily work closely with the Production team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of production performance, material consumption, manpower, wastage, downtime and other operational parameters.

The ideal candidate should have solid MS Excel skills, data analysis capabilities and hands-on experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

- Key Responsibilities

1. Production MIS & Reporting

- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly production MIS.
- Track production against planned targets and highlight deviations.
- Prepare reports on production quantity, line-wise output, shift-wise production and machine performance.
- Maintain production-related dashboards and management reports.
- Consolidate data from different production lines/shifts and ensure accuracy.

2. Production Data Analysis

- Analyze production data to identify trends, variances and operational gaps.
- Monitor production efficiency, productivity and capacity utilization.
- Track actual vs. planned production and provide variance reports.
- Prepare reports on rejection, wastage, rework and production losses.




- Support the Production team in identifying areas for improvement through data analysis.

3. Material & Consumption MISTrack and prepare MIS for RM/PM consumption against production.

- Monitor actual consumption versus standard/BOM consumption.
- Highlight abnormal consumption and variances to the Production/Stores team.
- Coordinate with Stores, Production and Planning teams for data reconciliation.

4. Manpower & Shift Reporting

- Maintain shift-wise and department-wise manpower reports.
- Track manpower deployment against production requirements.
- Prepare reports on attendance, overtime and productivity wherever required.
- Maintain shift-wise production and manpower records.

5. Machine & Downtime Reporting

- Maintain records of machine downtime, breakdowns and production losses.
- Prepare machine-wise/line-wise downtime MIS.
- Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams for accurate downtime reporting.
- Highlight recurring downtime or operational issues to the concerned team.

6. Coordination & Documentation

- Coordinate closely with Production, PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Finance teams for data collection and reconciliation.
- Ensure production records and MIS are updated on time.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for management review and audits.
- Support the Production Manager/Plant Head with ad-hoc reports and data analysis.
