About the Role:

The Chapter Manager - SAP Finance Expertise is a recognized internal expert in SAP Finance processes, solutions and integrations.
The role provides advanced functional guidance and hands-on expertise to Product Teams when complex topics exceed the teams existing knowledge. It helps teams diagnose issues, evaluate solution options, understand configuration and integration impacts, and make sustainable functional-design decisions.
Sitting in the Finance Chapter allows scarce expertise to be shared across products. The role retains and develops critical knowledge, promotes standards and reuse, challenges external recommendations and helps reduce dependency on individual specialists and suppliers.
Product Teams retain ownership of the business relationship, product decisions, backlog and delivery. The Finance Architect retains accountability for the overall Finance architecture. The Chapter Manager provides the deep SAP Finance expertise required to inform those decisions.

Technical Skills Required

Total experience: 8+ years in SAP Finance, Finance technology, functional consulting, product delivery, transformation or a related senior expert role in complex organizations.
Relevant experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP Finance experience covering functional analysis, configuration , solution design, implementation, integration, deployment or complex operational problem resolution. The experience must demonstrate the ability to advise and challenge others.
