AjnaLens is looking for an SDE II / Senior Unity Developer – XR to join our Product Development – Unity team at Thane (Maharashtra – India).

We are seeking a technically strong professional with 4–6 years of experience in Unity development and hands-on expertise in XR, C#, AR/VR/MR, performance optimization, and XR hardware integration. The candidate should be capable of independently owning features, solving complex technical problems, and mentoring junior developers.

Top 3 Daily Tasks:

• Develop scalable XR applications using Unity and C#, including interactions, UI, physics, animations, and application logic.
• Integrate and optimize XR experiences across devices, SDKs, and hardware while ensuring performance and stability.
• Own features end-to-end, contribute to technical decisions, troubleshoot complex issues, conduct code reviews, and mentor developers.

Minimum Work Experience / Education Required:

• 4–6 years of qualified Unity development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field,



or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience in AR/VR/MR/XR application development.

Top 5 Skills You Should Possess:

• Strong proficiency in Unity and C# with good understanding of scalable and maintainable architecture.
• Hands-on experience with OpenXR, Meta XR SDK, and Unity XR Interaction Toolkit.
• Strong understanding of 3D transformations, physics, animation, input systems, scene management, prefabs, and ScriptableObjects.
• Experience with Unity profiling and XR performance optimization, including CPU/GPU, memory, rendering, and frame-rate optimization.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, technical ownership, and mentoring skills.

What You’ll Be Expected to Do:

• Develop and maintain production-ready AR/VR/MR applications using Unity.
• Implement XR interactions such as hand tracking, controllers, grabbing, locomotion, spatial interactions, and XR UI.
