As Deputy Manager – Credit, you will own day-to-day credit underwriting, limit monitoring, and portfolio health across Vegrow's customer base. This is a high-ownership role for an early-career finance professional looking to build strong credit judgment in a fast-moving, data-driven setting.

Key Responsibilities
• Customer Underwriting: Evaluate credit applications end-to-end, including financials, trading history, cash flows, and sector-specific risks. Prepare credit appraisals and recommend appropriate credit limits.
• Limit Monitoring: Monitor credit limit utilization and process limit adjustment requests based on business and seasonal requirements. Identify exceptions and escalate risks.




• Portfolio Monitoring: Track DPI (Days Past Oldest Unpaid Invoice) and DPD on a daily basis. Identify early-warning signals and maintain a watchlist for at-risk accounts.
• Collections Coordination: Prepare and hand over DPI 120+ accounts to the collections team with complete documentation and track resolution.
• Business Performance Reviews: Compile and validate portfolio data for weekly BPRs, ensuring accuracy and clear explanation of key variances.
• Policy & Governance: Ensure adherence to credit SOPs across channels, identify policy gaps or exceptions, and maintain audit-ready credit documentation.
• Field Assessments: Travel 25–30% across India to assess customer operations, validate financial information, and interact with key customers/traders.
