About Teesta

Teesta Investment is a proprietary high-frequency trading (HFT) and market-making firm focused on global digital asset markets. We build automated trading systems that operate 24×7 across global crypto markets, combining technology, quantitative research, and disciplined execution to compete in one of the world's fastest-moving financial environments.

Operating a global trading business requires more than sophisticated technology. Behind every trade is a robust financial and compliance framework that ensures accuracy, transparency, regulatory compliance, and operational discipline. As the business scales across exchanges, jurisdictions, and financial systems, building strong finance processes becomes critical to supporting long-term growth.

The Team

This is a full-time, on-site role based in our Kolkata office.

You'll join the Finance team and work closely with leadership, operations, legal advisors, auditors, tax consultants, external partners to ensure the firm's financial operations run efficiently and remain fully compliant.

We are looking for someone who enjoys solving complex financial problems, building scalable processes, and bringing structure to a rapid-growing business.

The Role

Finance in a high-frequency trading business is fundamentally different from traditional accounting.

The business generates high transaction volumes across multiple exchanges, operates continuously, and requires accurate financial reporting, disciplined controls, and timely regulatory compliance. Success depends on building processes that are reliable, scalable, and capable of supporting a rapidly growing organisation.

You'll own our accounting, tax and compliance function and work closely with both internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure our financial operations remain accurate, compliant, and efficient. As part of a lean team, you'll also take on a wide range of ad-hoc projects and business needs as they come up.
