TCS Hiring for Azure Server Engineer L3 Windows - Rehost

Experience Range: - 06 To 10 Years (Mandatory)
(Note: Candidates below 6 years of IT experience shall not be considered)
JOB LOCATION: Bengaluru, Chennai & Pune

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end server migration projects (Rehost/Lift-and-Shift) to Azure
• Perform discovery, assessment, and migration planning using Azure Migrate
• Execute agent-based and agentless migrations for Windows workloads
• Manage Azure Site Recovery (ASR) replication, failover, and cutover activities
• Optimize VM sizing, storage, and networking in Azure
• Troubleshoot migration issues and ensure minimal downtime
• Implement best practices for security, high availability, and performance
• Document migration processes, runbooks, and SOPs
• Collaborate with application and infra teams

Required Skills:
• Solid experience in Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022)
• Hands-on experience with Azure Migrate & Azure Site Recovery (ASR)
• Good knowledge of Azure IaaS (VM, VNet, NSG, Storage)




• Familiarity with agent-based and agentless migration techniques
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy
• Understanding of networking concepts (VPN, ExpressRoute preferred)
• Scripting skills (PowerShell preferred)

Preferred Skills:
• Azure certifications (AZ-104 / AZ-305)
• Experience in migration factory / large-scale migrations
• Knowledge of backup/DR strategies

Minimum Qualification:
15 years of Full Time Education
