Job Description: HR Generalist (with Recruitment Focus)

About The Role

We are looking for a proactive HR Generalist with strong recruitment experience to manage the complete employee lifecycle, from hiring and onboarding to engagement, compliance, and exits. You will be a key partner to business leaders, balancing talent acquisition with day-to-day HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition (approx. 50%)

• Manage end-to-end recruitment: job posting, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer rollout, and closure
• Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and prepare accurate job descriptions
• Source candidates through job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed), social media, referrals, and consultants
• Maintain a talent pipeline and track hiring metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and offer-to-join ratio




• Manage recruitment vendors and agencies
• Deliver a positive candidate experience and strong employer branding

HR Operations & Generalist Duties (approx. 50%)

• Conduct onboarding and induction, including documentation and background verification
• Maintain employee records, HRIS data, and HR MIS reports
• Support attendance, leave management, and payroll inputs
• Handle employee queries, grievances, and relations issues
• Drive engagement activities, events, and recognition programs
• Support performance management cycles, appraisals, and probation reviews
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment Act, etc.)
• Manage exit formalities, including exit interviews, F&F; coordination, and experience letters
• Assist in drafting and updating HR policies and SOPs
