We are looking for a smart, curious and proactive Business Development Intern who wants practical exposure to how a growing apparel and e-commerce business identifies new opportunities, builds partnerships and expands into new sales channels.
This is a hands-on internship where you will work closely with management on business research, lead generation, market expansion, e-commerce opportunities and AI-enabled business development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Business Development & Lead Generation
• Research and identify new business opportunities
• Find potential customers, retailers, distributors, resellers and business partners
• Generate and maintain lists of qualified leads
• Reach out through calls, email, LinkedIn and other channels
• Conduct initial discussions with prospects




• Follow up on leads and business enquiries
• Coordinate meetings with management
• Maintain lead and follow-up trackers
• Assist in converting opportunities into actual business
2. New Market & Channel Research
• Research current markets and customer segments
• Identify new marketplaces and online sales channels
• Explore B2B, wholesale, institutional and retail opportunities
• Research distributors and retailers across different cities
• Identify opportunities for new partnerships
• Study potential expansion into new product categories and markets
• Present useful findings and recommendations to management
3. E-commerce & Marketplace Exposure
You will gain exposure to platforms such as:
• Amazon
• Flipkart
• Myntra
• Meesho
• JioMart
• Shopify / D2C
• Other online marketplaces
The intern may assist with:
• Marketplace research
• Competitor monitoring
• Pricing comparisons
• Product opportunity research
