The Prospect
We are seeking Automation and Control Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in the battery manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, development, implementation and maintaining automation systems and control strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and ensure high-quality production of battery cells. This role requires a deep understanding of automation technologies, control systems, and manufacturing processes within the battery industry.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Automation Design & Engineering




• Lead and participate in automation design reviews with machine suppliers and OEMs.
• Review Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Sequences of Operations, Control Philosophies, and Network Architecture Documents.
• Define and enforce automation architecture standards across all equipment categories.
• Ensure all supplier-delivered automation systems comply with Agratas engineering standards.
• Develop reusable control strategies and templates that can be applied consistently across projects and facilities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Agratas automation standards and engineering guidelines.

PLC Software Development
• Develop, modify, simulate, and troubleshoot PLC programs across multiple platforms.
• Configure machine sequences, interlocks, alarms, recipes, and machine state models.
• Support machine simulation and offline testing activities prior to equipment del
