Carlo Gavazzi is looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager – South to accelerate our growth across South India.

Carlo Gavazzi is a global company specializing in the design, manufacture and marketing of automation products and networked solutions. Our portfolio includes technologies across Sensors, Switches and Controls for Industrial and Building Automation applications.

As Area Sales Manager – South, you will be responsible for developing new business, expanding our customer base and strengthening Carlo Gavazzi's presence across the region.

You will:
• Drive new business development and market penetration across South India.
• Develop relationships with OEMs, system integrators, distributors and key accounts.
• Identify new customers, applications and growth opportunities.
• Achieve sales targets through customer acquisition, cross-selling and introduction of new products.




• Understand customers' technical and commercial requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activities.
• Work closely with our international Product Management teams to identify market opportunities.
• Represent Carlo Gavazzi at customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events.
• Manage your sales pipeline, forecasts and performance reporting.

What we're looking for
You bring a strong combination of technical knowledge and commercial drive, ideally including:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in sales, business development or product management.
• Solid experience within Industrial Automation, particularly Sensors, Controls and/or Switches.
• Proven success developing business with OEMs, system integrators and key accounts.
• Strong customer acquisition
