Specialization:
• Ancient History

Responsibilities
• Deliver High-Quality Teaching: Conduct engaging lectures in Ancient History, covering early civilizations, ancient India, world civilizations, archaeology, historiography, and related historical developments using interactive and student-centric teaching methods.
• Promote Research & Critical Thinking: Encourage analytical thinking and historical inquiry through innovative teaching practices, research-based learning, discussions, case studies, and the integration of digital resources.
• Mentor Students: Provide academic guidance and mentorship to undergraduate and postgraduate students, supporting research projects, dissertations, career planning, and participation in seminars, conferences,



and academic activities.
• Contribute to Academic Excellence: Participate in curriculum development, departmental activities, accreditation processes, research publications, consultancy, and other institutional responsibilities as assigned.

Eligibility Criteria
• Ph.D. in History with specialization in Ancient History.
• Master's Degree in History with specialization in Ancient History.
• Bachelor's Degree in History.
• Solid teaching, research, and publication record will be preferred.
• Qualifications and experience should be as per UGC norms.
