Assistant Area Manager – Plasters

Overview

Drive sales growth for plaster products across the assigned territory by managing projects, channels, and key accounts while building robust relationships with contractors, builders, and developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate high‑quality leads through outbound prospecting, cold calling, email campaigns, and networking with contractors, builders, and developers.
• Manage the full sales cycle: qualification, presentations, demos, negotiation, and closing deals to meet or exceed targets.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline; update CRM with prospect information, activities, and KPI metrics.
• Analyze market dynamics, competitor activity, and sales trends to adjust strategies and forecast demand.
• Lead channel‑partner initiatives, onboarding new distributors and ensuring compliance with pricing and promotional guidelines.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports, pipeline reviews, and forecasts for senior leadership.
• Coordinate with marketing, product, and field teams to execute promotions, product launches,



and technical training.
• Mentor junior sales staff and assist in recruiting, training, and coaching to build a high‑performing team.
• Ensure timely collection of customer documents and adherence to contract terms for smooth order fulfillment.

Required Experience & Skills

• 3–10 years of proven B2B sales experience in construction materials, plaster, or related industrial chemicals.
• Demonstrated success in project sales, channel sales, and key account management.
• Strong track record of meeting or surpassing sales quotas and pipeline targets.
• Expertise in lead generation, sales pipeline management, and CRM usage (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Ability to analyze sales data, KPIs, and market trends to drive actionable insights.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills with contractors, builders, and developers.
