Job Description:

TaxKitab is a Pune-based Accounting & Consultancy firm serving 3,000+ businesses across India and overseas since 2017. We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to independently handle client accounts and compliance and to guide our junior team.

What you will do:

- Handle end-to-end accounting for multiple clients, from bookkeeping to finalisation
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and do GSTR-2B reconciliation
- Compute and pay TDS, and file quarterly TDS returns (24Q, 26Q)
- Prepare and file Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms and companies
- Finalise accounts and prepare Balance Sheet, P&L; and schedules
- Do bank reconciliations and prepare monthly MIS reports




- Support statutory audit and tax audit work and coordinate with auditors
- Review work of junior accountants and article trainees
- Handle client queries and make sure every due date is met

Who should apply:

- 5+ years of experience in a CA firm or Tax Consultancy firm only (mandatory)
- Robust hands-on knowledge of Tally Prime & Winman
- Good working knowledge of GST, TDS and Income Tax rules
- Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Knowledge of Zoho Books, QuickBooks or Xero is a plus
- Able to manage a team and handle clients independently
