Quality Engineer – Sheet Metal Industry
Experience: 5–10 Years
Qualification:
Diploma / BE / B.Tech – Mechanical / Production
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming, in-process and final inspection.
- Ensure quality of sheet metal components as per drawings and specifications.
- Identify and resolve quality issues through root-cause analysis.
- Handle NCR, rejection, rework and customer complaints.
- Prepare inspection reports and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams for quality improvement.
Required Skills:
- Sheet metal fabrication
- CNC Laser Cutting
- CNC Punching
- CNC Press Brake / Bending
- Stamping & Welding
- Engineering Drawing & GD&T;
- Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
- 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, Fishbone, CAPA & 8D
- PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC & MSA
- AutoCAD / SolidWorks knowledge
- Positive communication and problem-solving skills
