We are seeking a highly meticulous and intellectually curious research intern to join our team. In this role, you will act as our central intelligence hub much like a dedicated research librarian. You will be responsible for diving deep into dense materials, extracting critical insights, and organising information so it is instantly accessible.

We value authentic, rigorous human analysis. This position requires someone who takes pride in their own cognitive work and possesses the ability to draft compelling, insightful research reports entirely from scratch, without the assistance of generative AI.

Key Responsibilities

- Deep-Dive Analysis: Read, digest, and analyse complex documents, including corporate annual reports, financial filings, white papers, and extensive industry research reports.
- Information Architecture: Organise and catalogue research materials and data points with the precision of a librarian, ensuring the team can easily retrieve historical and current data.
- Original Reporting: Synthesize findings into explicit, well-structured, and highly accurate research reports, summaries, and memos.
- Fact-Checking & Sourcing: Maintain rigorous standards for data accuracy,



ensuring every claim in your reports is backed by a verified primary or secondary source.
- Trend Identification: Connect the dots across multiple disparate reports to identify emerging market trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Qualifications & Requirements Exceptional Reading Stamina: A proven ability to read lengthy, dense, and complex materials for extended periods without losing focus or missing critical details.
- Strict Zero-AI Writing Commitment: You must possess strong, independent writing skills. We require 100% original human authorship for all deliverables. The use of ChatGPT, Claude, or any other generative AI writing tools for drafting reports is strictly prohibited.
- Meticulous Organisation: Highly methodical with a "librarian" mindset for archiving, tagging, and cross-referencing information.
- Strong Analytical Mindset: Ability to cut through corporate jargon in annual reports to uncover the actual narrative and data-driven truths.
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in finance, economics, English, history, library sciences, or a related field that emphasises heavy reading and original writing.
