We are looking for an experienced and skilled South Indian Chef to join our small café in Borivali West, Mumbai. The candidate should have solid knowledge of South Indian cuisine and be able to independently manage day-to-day kitchen operations.

- KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare authentic South Indian dishes with consistent taste and presentation.
- Handle preparation of DOSA, IDLI, VADA, UTTAPAM, UPMA, PONGAL, SAMBAR, CHUTNEYS and other South Indian specialties.
- Maintain consistency in recipes, portion sizes and quality.
- Manage daily mise en place and kitchen preparation.
- Maintain proper hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards.
- Control food wastage and maintain efficient use of ingredients.
- Maintain proper storage and FIFO practices.
- Ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.
- Coordinate with café staff for timely order preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas.
- Follow standard recipes and maintain quality standards.
