Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Senior Linux Kernel Engineer with a strong background in Linux kernel porting, CVE vulnerability patching, and device driver development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Yocto and system build processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to enhance our product offerings and ensure system security.
Responsibilities:
• Port Linux kernel to various hardware platforms, ensuring compatibility and performance.
• Identify, analyze, and patch CVE vulnerabilities in the Linux kernel and associated software.
• Develop and maintain device drivers for various hardware components.
• Utilize Yocto for building and customizing Linux distributions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of kernel and driver changes.
• Document processes, changes,



and technical specifications for future reference.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and team members.

Mandatory Skills:
• Proven experience in driver development for Linux systems.
• Strong knowledge of Linux kernel architecture and internals.
• Experience with CVE vulnerability assessment and patching.
• Proficiency in Yocto and system build processes.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with embedded systems and hardware interfaces.
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Experience with debugging tools and methodologies for kernel and driver development.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Linux kernel development and driver programming.
