Hiring: VP - Business Development (Component Sourcing - Sales)

We're looking for an electrical engineering graduate who has moved into B2B sales and built a career in electronic-component sourcing, distribution or procurement sales to OEM manufacturers.

Relevant experience at electronic-component suppliers or distributors such as Avnet, Arrow or Mouser is the target profile. The role needs both technical understanding and a track record of leading sales teams.

Our electronic-component sourcing business serves original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and electronics manufacturing services (EMS) companies. This role owns its national sales strategy, revenue, gross margin and regional sales team. It reports to the Business Director - Pan India, with regional sourcing sales professionals reporting into this role.

What you'll do
* Own national revenue,



gross margin and order-book growth. Translate national targets into regional quotas, territory plans and forecasts.
* Build, hire, coach and manage the component-sourcing sales team across North, South, West and East India.
* Set the national go-to-market plan across target accounts, component categories and customer segments.
* Personally lead major OEM/EMS sourcing deals and grow customers from spot purchases to recurring and annual sourcing contracts.
* Build a repeatable sales process from RFQ and BOM capture through quotation, purchase order and delivery.
* Develop business in shortage, obsolete and hard-to-find electronic components.
* Set pricing and margin guardrails, and handle commercial exceptions within delegated authority.
* Work with sourcing, supply-chain and operations teams on supplier capacity, lead times, delivery commitments, component quality, authenticity and order traceabilit
