Job Summary:

As an Integration Platform Engineer at Molex, your primary responsibility will be to implement end-to-end integration solutions that address customer requests and align with business needs and priorities. You will work on creating valuable solutions, identifying system deficiencies, and applying up-to-date technologies to develop innovative and efficient solutions. This role requires continual learning about new applications, features, and APIs, and a commitment to maintaining relevant and current capabilities. Hands-on development and support of the Molex middleware/integration platform are integral to this role.

Our Team

As part of the platform team, you will collaborate with corporate IT groups and global business contacts to develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test integrations that support Molex middleware platforms.



Working in an Agile environment, you will utilize SCRUM or Kanban methodologies to effectively deliver solutions.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate proactively with internal support teams, vendors, and customers for enhancements and break/fix support.
• Complete key project work and support activities, prioritizing features and requirements based on business value and impact.
• Establish and follow best practices in the implementation and execution of support processes.
• Design and develop modern, API-based and event-driven integrations between enterprise applications, leveraging RESTful principles and Confluent Kafka to build robust, scalable solutions that support both synchronous and asynchronous data flows.
• Build and support Kafka-based integrations in Python, including: Developing and maintaining producer and consumer clients (Python) for event publishing and stream consumption.
