About the role
You'll be one of the first set of Software engineers on the ground in Chennai GCC of newboxes, Germany; building product interfaces alongside a small, high-ownership team. The core ask is straightforward: the right front-end stack, and the ability to take a software requirement and own it end-to-end through the SDLC. Domain exposure (Industrial Systems & Decision Intelligence) is a bonus, not a prerequisite — we look for strong engineering fundamentals and grow the domain knowledge on the job.

Key responsibilities
• Understand software requirements and take full ownership through the SDLC — design, build, test, deploy,



monitor and maintain
• Build and ship user-facing features end-to-end, from component design through to production
• Grow the Vue 3 component/design system into documented, tested, production-ready components
• Collaborate directly with product and the backend engineer to turn requirements into working software
• Contribute to frontend coding standards and review practices as the team grows
• Work async-first with the Germany-based team, with overlap hours for key syncs

Must-have skills
• 3–5 years building production frontend applications in Vue, React or Angular — this role works in Vue 3 (Composition API), so solid React experience with the ability to ramp quickly is genuinely welcome, not just a fallback.
• Solid TypeScript fundamentals — not just framework familiarity
• Experience integrating with REST or GraphQL APIs
• Demonstrated ability to take a requirement from spec to shipped feature with minimal h
