Role Description The Tekla Modeler role at Fourion is a full time, on-site position based in Kochi. The Tekla Modeler will create and manage 3D models of structural and miscellaneous steel using Tekla Structures, ensuring accurate representation of connections, member sizes, and detailing standards.
Daily responsibilities include interpreting architectural and structural drawings, coordinating with engineering and detailing teams, and preparing shop and erection drawings that meet project specifications and codes. The role involves performing clash detection, updating models based on design changes and RFIs, and maintaining explicit documentation for fabrication and installation. The Tekla Modeler will collaborate closely with project managers, checkers, and other stakeholders to meet deadlines and support efficient, error-free project delivery.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in Tekla Structures or similar 3D steel detailing software; ability to build and manage complex structural and miscellaneous steel models.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel detailing standards, connection types, fabrication processes, and relevant industry codes.
