RennoWaste builds zero-waste biorefineries that extract every unit of value from crop residues, converting what was once burned in fields into high-performance industrial materials. About the role
This is a hands-on, full-time production lab position. You will work alongside our scientists, executing formulations, running daily reactions, and maintaining the analytical discipline our process depends on. This is not a theoretical research role: you will be responsible for your own batches from early on.
Duration and compensation
• 6-month full-time paid internship
• High-performing interns may be offered a full time Junior Chemist position at the end of the internship

What you will do
Formulation and batch work
• Follow formulation sheets precisely: weigh, mix, and sequence ingredients as specified




• Prepare batches at bench and kilo-lab scale per SOPs
• Record batch entries accurately: quantities, observations, deviations, and yield outcomes
• Reproduce formulations consistently across multiple trial runs

Daily lab reactions
• Conduct routine titrations, pH checks, viscosity measurements, and moisture analysis
• Assist in condensation and crosslinking reactions under controlled conditions
• Support solvent extraction, filtration, and lignin fractionation operations
• Maintain daily reaction logs and flag abnormal observations to the supervising chemist

What we are looking for
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Polymer Science.
• Basic understanding of lab reactions and analytical testing
• Comfort with standard lab equipment and safety procedures
• Accurate record-keeping and SOP discipline
• Prior experience in resin, coating, biomass, or chemical processing labs is a plus, but not required
