Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and target-oriented Team Leader – E-commerce Recruitment (East Zone) to manage and drive recruitment operations across the East Zone.

The role will be responsible for leading recruiters across West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, North Bengal, and other East Zone locations, with a strong focus on bulk hiring for e-commerce, logistics, warehouse, delivery, and blue-collar requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the East Zone E-commerce Recruitment Team.
- Manage recruitment activities across multiple locations and states.
- Handle high-volume hiring for Delivery Executives, Warehouse Associates, Picker/Packer, Loader/Unloader, Sorter, Helpers, Riders, Field Executives, and other blue-collar profiles.
- Plan state-wise and location-wise recruitment strategies.
- Allocate daily/monthly targets and monitor recruiter performance.
- Drive daily line-ups, interviews, selections, offers, and joinings.
- Monitor recruiter-wise and location-wise performance through MIS.
- Ensure timely fulfilment of client requirements within defined TAT.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams for requirements, interviews, feedback, offers, and joining updates.
- Build and maintain a robust candidate pipeline.
- Develop effective sourcing channels through job portals, databases, references, social media, and local sourcing.
- Conduct regular team huddles and performance reviews.
- Coach and mentor recruiters to improve productivity and conversion.
- Track selection-to-joining ratio, dropouts, no-shows, and early attrition.
- Take corrective actions for underperforming recruiters/locations.
- Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly recruitment MIS.




- Ensure proper documentation and onboarding coordination.
- Support business development teams with recruitment feasibility and manpower availability.
- Maintain strong coordination between East Zone Recruiters, ZTLs/TLs, Clients, and Operations Teams.

Required Skills & Competencies
- 4–7 years of experience in Recruitment / E-commerce / Logistics / Staffing / Blue-Collar Hiring.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Team Handling & Recruitment Operations.
- Strong experience in high-volume/bulk hiring.
- Good understanding of East Zone recruitment markets.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities.
- Strong target orientation and ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of recruitment portals and local sourcing channels.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and Recruitment MIS.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel within the East Zone, if required.

Educational Qualification Graduate in any discipline preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a hands-on recruitment leader with strong experience in volume hiring and team management, capable of managing multiple East Zone locations, driving recruiter productivity, maintaining a strong candidate pipeline, and delivering consistent joining numbers against business targets.
