? We're hiring Robotics AI Interns — fully remote
We're building DEV 0.0 — a humanoid robot brought up entirely in simulation before any hardware exists. It reasons in language, perceives its surroundings, maps and navigates a space, and acts — always behind a safety layer that lets it take only an allowed action.
This is reliable engineering, not a learning exercise. The code you write is the product.
We're looking for a small number of capable, self-directed people to own one slice of that system. You'll build on open-source robotics foundations — we build on them, we don't reinvent them — and your work is judged by one thing: whether it actually runs.
WHO WE WANT
▸ You can take an open-source robotics or AI component and get it running on your own, from the docs.
▸ You write code that works — and you can show it working (output, a short clip, a reproducible run), not just claim it.
▸ You're honest about what you did and didn't get working, and about the limits of your result.
▸ You move at a steady, consistent pace without being chased.
▸ You care about doing it properly. Careless or copied work is worse than slow work.
THE TRACKS (you own one)
▸ Simulation & embodiment — get the humanoid standing, then walking
▸ Perception & sensing — turn camera and depth into spatial awareness
▸ Mapping & navigation — build a map, move to a goal without collisions
▸ Control & behaviour — translate intent into motion
▸ Safe control & grounding — the gate every action passes through
▸ Voice & command — language in, exactly one allowed action out
▸ Embedded & hardware I/O — the firmware layer for real hardware later
HOW IT WORKS
1. Send your work — a GitHub profile, a resume, or a short note on what you've built. Links to things that run carry far more weight than a list of skills.
2. A short warm-up — a small, self-contained task on your likely track, in a private repo.
3. A confirmed seat — clean, original work earns a track and access to the team.
We work on steady, consistent progress, not fixed deadlines. Do the first milestone properly and share it when it's ready. You'll sign a mutual NDA + IP agreement before any private access — it protects your work as much as ours. Interested? Send your GitHub or portfolio, the track that fits you, and the project you're proudest of. ?
