Role Description The Work Package Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, responsible for overseeing defined work packages within larger projects and ensuring their timely and cost-effective execution. This position involves planning and coordinating activities, managing schedules and resources, and tracking progress against milestones and deliverables.
The role includes liaising with expeditors, suppliers, and logistics teams to ensure materials and equipment are delivered on time, and organizing inspections to verify quality and compliance with project requirements.
The Work Package
Manager will prepare status reports, maintain documentation, and communicate risks, issues, and changes to project stakeholders.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to health, safety, and quality standards are essential aspects of day-to-day work.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Expeditor and Expediting to coordinate supplier follow-up and ensure timely delivery of materials and documentation.
- Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills to plan work packages, manage schedules, control costs, and track progress against project objectives.
- Candidates should possess skills in Inspection to organize and oversee quality checks, compliance verification, and acceptance of goods and services.
- Candidates should possess skills in Logistics Management to manage shipments, material flow, and on-site receipt and storage in alignment with project timelines.
- Candidates should ideally have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or a related field, along with experience in industrial, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a structured and detail-oriented manner.
